Another successful event was held at the LA Tavern in St Marys last weekend March 19th-20th 2011. A full draw of 64 players pool players and entourage turned out for the 3rd CueWorld Classic 8 Ball event 'out west' and we were very pleased to have many of our regulars come back and support this very popular format.

It was great to see some new faces and we look forward to our next event, James, Jason and myself now go into the planning stage. The side events were nonstop over the two days and we had to turn people away as we ran out of time..sorry...but we are working on a few this space.

Dave Richards lost in a hill-hill battle with Barry Mavros, better luck next time Dave, great effort to go that far in the event. Tony Behan and Terry Jackson were narrowly defeated in hill-hill matches in the round of 16.

The ever popular raffles went well, the eventual winner wone the Lucasi Prize pack which had a Case, Playing Cue, Jump Cue and Break Cue - Ken Bamblett, well done Ken, I am sure you will enjoy those great cues, they are worth over $750.
